    Basic Finance Pty Ltd and or its ultimate Lender(the Funds Provider) informs you [the Customer] that under Section 18E (1) of the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988, it may disclose your information to credit reporting agencies for the following purposes:

  • To obtain a credit report about you;
  • To allow as required a credit information file containing information about you.
  • The information is limited to:
  • Your application for funds, the amount and the fact that you have applied for funding;
  • Personal details eg. Your name, sex, addresses provided, place and date of birth, employment details and ID numbers provided;
  • A statement that the Funds Provider is a current provider of credit to you;
  • Any default occurrences like:
    • Overdue repayments that may be passed to a debt collection agency for collection;
    • Dishonoured cheques or payments that have been dishonoured on more than one occasion;
  • Any serious credit infringement that the Funds Provider deems to be fraudulent in respect of your credit obligations;
  • A statement that the credit provided to you by the Funds Provider has been repaid or discharged.

    Under Section 18N(1)(b) and 18N(1)(g) of the Privacy Act 1988 I authorise the Funds Provider ,Basic Finance Pty Ltd to exchange my personal information to the Funds Provider, its associates, to any credit provider named in any credit report issued by credit reporting agencies used by the Funds Provider for any of the following purposes:

  • to asses my credit worthiness;
  • to asses my application for funding;
  • the collection of overdue payments;
  • to notify any default by you;
  • internal management of the your credit file.
    • The Funds Provider has informed you that it may give personal information to credit reporting agencies under the terms if the Commonwealth Privacy Act and furthermore has and has offered to make the Act available to you on request;
